Freddie Mac sent a broker to price the house. Now we await the verdict. Hopefully we can come to an agreement soon and wind up this sale at last. We began this particular part of our journey - trying to purchase this property - about 5 months ago!
If this doesn't work out, I guess we'll be packing again!Rob has had moments this last week when life here felt more like "home" for him.
I'm glad. I'm trusting that time will come for me, as well. We've only been here 8 weeks.

Mornin Glorie...I bet when you get the house lined out it will become home for you....it would be hard for me to become homey when I might have to pack it all up and start over again ....Hang in there ilym
Once the housing situation is more settled, it will suddenly feel more like home. You've done some neat exploration and are beginning to know and like your new surroundings. I hope the house works out for you -- and am glad that Rob is beginning to feel at home!
I cannot imagine how unsetteling it is for you to be in a new area, and not know if you can stay in the house. Love and prayers.

Waiting is hard!
Thinking of you folks as you await the decision! My weekend was grand with all my girl cousins, my nieces, sisters and a few in-laws to round out the group! Great fun very nice and the weather could not have been better!

@i_was_there_and_back_again - OMG, Trish -- I worried about you guys all weekend after I heard about the Bank of America (and others) suspending foreclosures. Are you now caught up in that mess? I certainly hope not, but it could affect anybody as it sounds as if they are doing a total audit of all foreclosures to make sure the i's are dotted and the t's crossed. You're definitely in my thoughts these days!

I don't think that's an issue for us. The foreclosure here is a done deal, and Freddie Mac now owns the house....but - who knows? Time will tell what this week unfolds.
