Not much to report here. We are still waiting on the house. We still need to hear an asking price from Freddie Mac. Maybe later this week....maybe not. Meanwhile, we are doing school, of course. The girls are both involved in drama productions. The weather is turning cold. We continue to get to know people in both the neighborhood and the church.
But, to be honest, some of my days are a bit lonely. But I know that time is what is needed.***********
"The crisis of our prayer life is that our mind may be filled with ideas of God while our heart remains far from Him. Real prayer comes from the heart." ~ H. Nouwen"In the morning I prepare a prayer for You and wait and watch for You to speak to my heart."
Ps 5:3
"My heart trusts in Him and I am helped."
Ps 28:7During this waiting time, I'm doing my best to share my heart with Him,
and to have His heart revealed to me in return.***********

It's typical ranch country in that area -- beautiful shots!! I do hope you hear soon about the house -- but in the meantime, enjoy it, and enjoy getting to know your surroundings!
Magnificent pictures...that ranch land may have seen better days but it is still truly beautiful.
Fantastic shots of beautiful country. Really stunning pictures.
You appear to be handling this waiting far better than I would!

Ha! You know what they say? Don't be fooled by appearances!
I love the rain on the mountains, and the last rearview! Hoping and praying for your house to become yours, and that the Lord meets you there!
The landscape looks antique like the ranch . Grandiose photo,Trish.
and the house will be to you too !
Time is needed for adaptation but don' t worry you will adapt !
You ask more specifically about me :yes I am not too well ( blood circulation and kidneys ) But this will improve.

I will pray for you, my friend!
Hi Trish! I love that first photo!
Are the girls doing drama with the local high school or with another group? How is integrating into the public school going?
@boundlessmercy -
Jenny's is with a private performing arts group and Heidie with the high school drama dept. Heidie loves her school experience so far. Absolutely loves it.
Good morning, I just had to look at these shots again. Really great pictures!
Pretty landscape photography... hope the drama productions go well. It's hard to start over again in a new place and develop new close friends, it takes time and getting involved. For me, it's always been hard to do (glad I'm not moving anytime soon, I guess!), but I see some people who make it look so easy. Different personalities I guess.
I hope those eight days brought good news, Trish.
Love
michel
