Well, we’ve been here for 9 months and I’m hoping that the worst of the feelings of loneliness and isolation and “out of my comfort zone-ness” are over. I’m sure we still have some adjusting to do, but it just feels different now than it did a month or two ago,
and for that I am very grateful. The difference has come about by
investing in more relationships, staying busy and letting time do its work.
I am content.*************
“When we practice looking for God’s presence around us, we see His hand everywhere. We must continue to look for His treasure, even when circumstances overwhelm us. When we are determined to search, we will find His peace in the midst of the storm.”
~ W. Carmichael“Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually.” 1 Chron 16:11
“In Your presence is fullness of joy.” Ps 16:11
Sometimes evidence of His presence is stunningly obvious….sometimes it is not.
But, I’m so grateful He’s always there, even when I must see Him
with the eyes of my heart.

Oh, Trish — I’m so glad to see you finally say that there something that feels different as you adjust to your new home. I think you’re right about time doing its work, and the new relationships also help! Your photos show, too, that you’re enjoying the sea — and that last shot is a framer! Hope to see you soon — maybe before the end of the year!

That’d be delightful, Janet.
Beautiful photos, and good thoughts. I want to daily practice His presence! I am glad you are feeling like you “fit in” a bit more. I know it takes a while. When we moved here, we also had the language and culture to deal with, but this is home now. It is a gradual thing, isn’t it?
Your post made me smile and say and inward amen. I love seeing contentment in the lives of my friends. The pictures are beautiful.
The pictures are beautiful. Glad you are getting adjusted and content. God bless as you continue to serve Him way over there.
great pictures
I am glad you start to adapt yourself in your new land or shore ,Thrish .
About shore the second picture shows well the human facing the immensity and the eternity .
And the last picture sings the glory of God .

Thank you, Michel. I want you to know that our dear friend, Julie Benner, unexpectedly died this morning….I can’t remember what her Xanga moniker was….She will be sorely missed, but is now rejoicing in Jesus’ presence.
I read your answer above, Trish . I write a special comment on Blagodat’s post on Xanga (Garry) and exceptionally I wrote on facebook words of sympathy.
This is really sad ! Blagodat had commented on my site some time ago( not so long) and in the far past so Ninotchka ( Julie Benner) did too .
I am sad

Michel
I am so astounded that it’s been 9 months; how can it be so? I hope everything is going well for you.

Yes, it hardly seems possible. All is well. Not always smooth and easy, but well. God is good.
