Today we are off to upstate NY to spend the weekend with Rob's family - his mom, brother, sister-in-law and nieces. Driving away on Sunday will be a bit challenging, I am sure. Just one of many challenges we are facing right about now. Yesterday was overflowing with them - aside from all the work of packing and making arrangements, we had to scramble to set up financial details for both of our college students. Jesse will be starting art school in exactly a month, Jon will be entering his senior year.
Transitions abound at this point.Speaking of changes....I stumbled across this stray photo while packing the other day.
I'm guessing it's from 2000-ish.Wow. We look younger. How many more changes will the next 10 years bring,
and to where will we be scattered by then? I'm glad that God knows what we do not,
and His ways are always good.**********
"I always have permission to bring something real to the Lord, the Respecter of emotions; no need to hide or pretend." ~ A. Seu
"Pour out your hearts before Him." Ps 62:8
Isn't that a gift given all that is swirling?

Have a delightful weekend, friends...

What a nice family. There were 7 of us when I was growing up and I was the oldest.
God bless you in all the transitions. Seems life is always transition. By the time we get used to the idea we're old.
Wow -- the faces have changed, but the personalities were there already!
I am glad to know that you are certain to have a house to move ( by renting , finally ) .

Wjhen I see the photo above I think also of my family in 2000 . What a change since ! The children and the oldest grand children love to watch the old albums since 1962 ...; ( birth of the first children ) . Personally I don' t like much . Too much behind !!
Love
Michel
The kidlets have certainly changed but you and Rob haven't at all, very nice picture.
