     I don't have time to jump back in yet either here, nor even with much of FB, but I just wanted to let you know - we are here! And we have much to do...living amidst a labyrinth of sealed boxes at the moment and a large list of to-do's!

    Eventually, I hope to write a true update....but it could take some time,
    so be patient with me.

    Blessings to you all, my sorely-missed friends!
    Please do send me a message or leave a comment giving me a recap of your news.

  • Oh, Trish -- I'm so glad you made it!  I've been thinking about you and wondering if you're just about ready to move -- guess the physical move is done now -- and I'm anxious to hear more about the last few days, the cross country trip, and your new home.  That large list of to-do's will gradually dwindle, and it will be fun to hear more from you when it does!  Meantime, ((hugs)) !

  • We have been happily busy as well - traveling to Indianapolis, then Maine, then Fergus, Ontario, Canada, and next week to the south - as far as Greensboro, NC.

  • Glad you made it to Oregon -- we were there last Christmas and loved it! Waiting to hear more about your adventure!

  • Orgeon is so beautiful.  Can't wait to hear how God blesses you there!

  • I am trying to get caught up with "regular" life here in Denmark as I was in the U.S. with my daughter, SIL and sweet little grandson for a whole month! I have missed you, and hearing about your move. It appears that God has been with you all the way! I look forward to hearing (and seeing!) more. I have tons of photos on FB of my trip, if you have any time for viewing. Blessings!

  • SO good to "see" you and glad you are there safe and sound! Oldest daughter returned from Japan and I helped move her in to her new place in Washington State - so pretty up there with all those trees!

  • "My" news, huh?!! LOL!!!

    End of July thru August's first weeks . . . Granddaughter turned seven July 26 (party July 24). Church picnic where all 3 of our youngest girls were baptized. The next day (Sunday) 2 daughters dedicated their lives to Jesus at then end of the church service. I had a stomach bug (the kind you get every 5 or 10 years!!!) for a week. Out of town company arrived to stay with us (Jesse's half brother). My youngest (Luci) had two birthdays (the real one and then the "party one" 2 days later). Company is still here - 2 adults and 3 more children than we usually have to fill our house. Things are lively.

    I bet your news is a whole lot more interesting than mine; and, I will wait, patiently, to here from you!!! Meanwhile, I continue to pray daily for you and your family!

    Woot-woot! 2 girls gave their hearts to Jesus! Now that's news!

    Sounds like you've been busy. Thanks so much for thinking of us and praying. I do so appreciate it.

    Thanks, Janet! How has your summer unfolded?

    @cerwindoris -

    My goodness, Doris. You really have been hopping! Good thing we got in our breakfast when we did!

    @DanishDoll -

    Mae, I hope to have time to check out your photos. Was it an amazingly terrific visit?

    @Ponder_ing -

    Where in Washington?! We're so much closer now!!!

  • @i_was_there_and_back_again - Ha -- we're in the same time zone now!  I've had a cool summer (June gloom is just now turning into summer weather), but with a couple of xanga visitors to play with at the beach, and a couple of trips to Santa Barbara too.  I extended on of the SB trips and went to Pismo Beach and San Simeon to meet jaynebug and portiajules -- it was a wonderful break, but I hope to do more travels before long.  I hope you're settling in ok -- were you able to purchase the house, or just to rent it?

  • Yes! I had an incredible time! My little grandson is 16 months old now, and a real charmer. I had so much fun him! My daughter pampered me, and we did a lot of special mother/daughter things. It was really hard to say good bye. Good byes are not my favorite. I am sure you understand that, too!

  • Yay! You made it!!!!

  • @TheCheshireGrins -

    How are those wedding plans coming along?

  • @DanishDoll -

    I sure do understand it! How have you been feeling?

  • @i_was_there_and_back_again - We only have a few more weeks. We're working on a lot of the detail stuff now for the reception. We have all of our ceremony figured out!

  • @TheCheshireGrins -

    I hope you post pictures~! Enjoy every minute.

  • While in the U.S. I got some therapy for a muscle pull, and it seemed to be doing better. I am still trying to set some more therapy up here. It kind of depends if we have to pay for it or not. It's been hurting more because it hasn't been worked on in over a week. Anyway... I hope I get something set up soon. Thanks for asking!

    @DanishDoll -

    May the Lord open the door for you to get that therapy and feel better, my friend!
