I must say, I miss all of you. I think of you often. I'd love it if you left me a comment summarizing your news. I haven't forgotten you.
We are still settling in. It's going to take time.
That's the number one lesson so far.
It's going to take time. This was taken after we packed up our trucks, before we began the trip out west.
I hope to be back before too long. Much love to you, my friends!

God's blessings to you and your family. Hope you can feel settled in and at home by winter. I've heard it takes 2 years before a new place really feel is like home. Of course I've heard a lot of things.
Great shot of you folks. I like the smiles and poses. I appreciate how you have shared this process with us, the decisions you were faced with and now the settling in and adjustments you are making. Looks like you handled it all very well indeed!
That's a great picture of your family! Moving is a bunch of work (reorganizing and unpacking and figuring out where to put what and finding where everything is in your new city, etc.) Blessings to you as you get comfortable at your new home.
The Oregonian family in its splendour and happiness .
Good luck, Trish

Hope you're doing well!
I guess our biggest news is that we're only a month away from the wedding!
Great photo! It makes me a little sad that I never got out to meet the whole family....but glad I at least got to meet you!!!
Been thinking of you, waiting to see how it's all going. I just got back from Florida, taking my oldest to graduate school: the big goodbye. My youngest begins college this week (as a commuter).

I think you are right...it's going to take some time before it really feels like home. We need to be patient and have restrained expectations, and continue to wait on God.

Yes, it is a lot of work!! Some of it is fun, some stressful! We need to wait on God to make it "home".

A month away! Wow! I sure hope you post pictures! Maybe by then I'll be back in my Xanga groove.

May the Lord help you with your adjustments, as well, during this season of your life! Change is always challenging, even when it's for the best.
Praying for His blessings over you and the family.
Biggest news is that we are to be grandparents!!! woohoo. Nick and Alicia are expecting in March. She has to let her sister know and then I can put it up on Facebook.
